CLD Course Outline

r
HR 01: Corporate Leadership Development     @ NITIE

Instead of thinking of improving the world, let us concentrate our attention on self-improvement. We can scarcely find out if the world is on the right or the wrong path. But if we take the strait and narrow path, we shall find all taking it too or discover the method of inducing them to take it . To know oneself is to forget the body or to reduce oneself to zero.

- Mahatma Gandhi..

1. Introduction

Leadership development course is designed and planned to be delivered taking into consideration the student profile. It is assumed that  students minds are overflowing with the theory that they gained in the last so many years. More importantly it is assumed that students are already given enough of leadership theory as part of many courses ( to name few courses..  OB, HRM, Management and Strategic Management  etc..)  that they took part in the last 1.5 years of their PGDIM course.

It is felt that a clear focus is needed to be given on APPLICATION OF LEADERSHIP  for the students development.
